On Charles' side we are researching his father's side where the Lundquist, Magnus, Eklund, and Olson-Jansson families that moved to north-central Kansas from the Sodermanland area of Sweden in
the 1870's.
On his mother's side, we are researching the Jonsson-Lindquist and Burkgren- Christiansson families from Mellby-Horeda area of Jonkopingslan, Sweden; and the Anderson and Lindenstein families from Skaraborg and Varmland areas of Sweden. These families moved to Illinois
and then to Iowa and Nebraska either before or right after the Civil War.
On Linda's side we are researching her father's family (Knopf) that came from Konigsberg, East Prussia, in the early 1900's and settled in Iowa, and her mother's side that has a well documented Hewitt / Stoddard family that goes back to the mid 1600's.
